I did it again...
Camera malfunctions... I had just lost the flash because the battery on the flash died but still attached to the D50' when I saw Jacquetta Wheeler walking down from Vivienne Westwood's on Conduit St... So I took the pic commando it "usually" works... Not to worry, as one of the best line-managers I ever worked with while at the FCO, David Drake, always told me You can't win them all
Meanwhile, if you are a jewellery lover and will be attending the opening of the Westfield Stratford tomorrow, look for me and David (my assistant) at the Goldsmiths new concept boutique!
Wardrobe Malfunction...
As a flâneur I always acknowledge the boyfriend of pretty girls first and this guy was cool... "Come on he'll take a nice photo of us" 
"Back in the day Karl Lagerfeld wore boots just like yours" I said asking if I could get a better shot of the Pirate cuffed boot's 
He knows these high jinx could end in tears... While I watched her face through the viewfinder in slow motion as she raised her leg higher and higher I'm shooting and thinking she must have done ballet as kid... Out on the streets I see a lot so nothing shocks me, but at some point, when she raised her leg a bit too much I had to say "Stop! wardrobe malfunction!" Her boyfriend nodded to himself, turning to indicate he was not part of this...
